Created on pure cotton handmade paper, this work is sculpted through layers of archival emulsions and textures applied by hand, forming a tactile surface where image and material merge. Pigment-based inks and hand-applied finishes make each piece one of a kind and truly exceptional. Limited to just five handcrafted editions, no two are ever identical. Developed over more than two years, this technique allows the work to be displayed without glass, as it is varnished for both physical and UV protection. However, if a glass front is preferred, a gallery-standard non-reflective glass is recommended.
Transit captures the layered motion of London from above, a city in constant dialogue with itself. Bridges, buildings, and roads merge into a rhythmic structure of motion and stillness. The composition transforms the urban grid into a tactile field of light and geometry, balancing precision with abstraction.
Framed in deep matte black using Lion moulding, the piece measures 62 × 52 cm, while the handmade work itself is 42 × 32 cm.
