Created on pure cotton handmade paper, this work is sculpted through layers of archival emulsions and textures applied entirely by hand, forming a tactile surface where image and material converge. Pigment-based inks and hand-applied finishes make each piece one of a kind and truly exceptional. Limited to just five handcrafted editions, no two are ever identical. Developed over more than two years, this technique allows the work to be displayed without glass, as it is varnished for both physical and UV protection. However, if a glass front is preferred, a gallery-standard non-reflective glass is recommended.
The Outlaws presents three dried stems, fragile yet upright, rendered with quiet defiance against a deep, textured black ground. Their forms evoke individuality and resilience, standing together yet apart. The piece captures the understated strength of imperfection and the poetry found in the remains of bloom and time.
