Taken in 2025, Covent Garden, London
Created on pure cotton handmade paper, this work is sculpted through layers of archival emulsions and textures applied entirely by hand, forming a tactile surface where image and material converge. Pigment-based inks and hand-applied finishes make each piece one of a kind and truly exceptional. Limited to just five handcrafted editions, no two are ever identical. Developed over more than two years, this technique allows the work to be displayed without glass, as it is varnished for both physical and UV protection. However, if a glass front is preferred, a gallery-standard non-reflective glass is recommended.
Drift Signal captures the slow rhythm of movement beneath Covent Garden’s vaulted glass roof. Figures and architecture dissolve into light, forming a soft echo of motion and reflection. The work balances clarity and abstraction, evoking a quiet sense of flux within London’s historic market.
Framed in deep matte black using Lion moulding, the piece measures 62 × 52 cm, while the handmade work itself is 42 × 42 cm. Designed to be displayed without glass, it is varnished for protection and to enhance the tactile surface. Each piece comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and an embossed signature mark, verifying its originality and craftsmanship.
